I only work at night. Why is that? I don't know. Maybe it is the only time I feel alone - alone, not lonely.

I'm starting a new painting. I haven't worked with acrylic in a very long time and I don't know that my paint is in any decent condition, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. So far I'm just drawing in guidelines. I never bother to scan my paintings and put them up, but maybe I will this time. Maybe.

I wouldn't call myself an artist because I rarely set out to create art - I set out to release my emotions or capture the magnificence of something already existing. I don't know what art is.
